Frequently asked questions
How does the round robin generator make the schedule?
It uses the circle method: one team stays fixed and the others rotate one place each round. Every pair meets exactly once, and with an odd number of teams each team sits out exactly one round.
How many games are in a round robin?
n × (n − 1) ÷ 2. For 4 teams that is 6, for 6 teams 15, for 8 teams 28, for 10 teams 45.
Can I assign courts or fields?
Yes. Choose the number of courts and every game in a round is given one. If a round has more games than courts, play them in waves in the order shown.
How are standings calculated?
Type each score as games finish. A win is 3 points and a draw 1; ties are broken by points difference, then points scored. The leader is highlighted.
Does it work for pickleball or tennis?
Yes, for fixed teams or players: enter each pair or player as one line. Rotating-partner pickleball (a new partner every round) is coming as its own tool.
What is a double round robin?
Each pair plays twice, usually home and away. Pick Twice under Each pair plays and the second half of the schedule swaps who is listed first.
